How Advisors Earn

Bring Your Expertise. Build Your Business. Get Connected to Opportunity.

Advisors earn from real client work they deliver under signed agreements — never from recruiting.

Eight Steps

From joining to getting paid

  1. 1

    Join the national network free

Submit a short application. There is no cost to join.

  2. 2

    Create your professional advisor profile

Share your experience, specialties and how you like to work.

  3. 3

Identify the services you are qualified to provide

Focus on what your experience and credentials genuinely support.

  4. 4

    Develop a professional offer

Package your expertise into clear services businesses understand.

  5. 5

Apply for eligible opportunities or bring a qualified project

Respond to network opportunities, or bring a client you've sourced.

  6. 6

Agree on the contract and compensation structure

Scope and compensation are documented and signed before work begins.

  7. 7

    Deliver contracted services

Do the work you were engaged for, with network support as agreed.

  8. 8

Receive compensation according to the executed agreement

Paid from eligible revenue actually collected from the client.

Standard Models

Who found the client shapes the split

Advisors can earn 60%–70% of eligible collected project revenue under qualifying signed agreements. Special arrangements may be negotiated individually.

60 / 40

Network-sourced contract

Second Act Advisors sources the client, develops the opportunity, structures the contract and supports administration. You perform the agreed work. Advisor 60%, network 40%.

70 / 30

Advisor-sourced contract

You bring a documented client opportunity, and the network provides agreed contracting, sales, operational or delivery support. Advisor 70%, network 30%.

Your independent clients — 100%

Work you generate and deliver on your own, without contracted network services, is entirely yours. The network never claims revenue from your separate business just because you joined.

Who sourced the client?

Advisor pool (60%)

$12,000

Network contribution (40%)

$8,000

Funds sourcing, contracting, administration and support.

Hypothetical illustration only. This shows how a split works. It is not an offer, a projection or an estimate of earnings. Projects are not guaranteed. Income depends on actual client work, revenue actually collected and a signed agreement. Taxes, refunds, chargebacks and approved pass-through costs reduce eligible revenue. Multiple advisors share one advisor pool.

The Rules

Clear terms, in writing

  • Splits are calculated on eligible collected project revenue: money actually received from the client, minus taxes, refunds, chargebacks and approved pass-through costs as defined in each agreement.
  • When several advisors work on one project, the advisor percentage is one shared pool, divided according to each advisor's signed allocation.
  • Compensation is approved and documented before any assignment begins.
  • Advisors keep 100% of independent work that does not use contracted network services.
  • No compensation is paid for recruiting members, and none is paid on mortgage referrals or other prohibited activities.

The network actively pursues corporate opportunities, but cannot promise any particular volume of work. Projects, income and acceptance are not guaranteed.
